The NLHS Tri-M since it began in the 2003-2004 school year, has fundraised and hosted several events. Future events may possibly include a recital-series by instrumentalists from across the US.

Past Events
- Fundraised to purchase a wall-marquee to be placed outside the auditorium. It is updated weekly and announces events in the auditorium. 
 
- On May 4th, Tri-M hosted its first recital by members. Perfomers ranged from students singing and performing on their instruments to adult piano accompaningment and adult instrumental performance.
 
- On May 17th, Tri-M hosted a quartet of two Euphoniums and two Tubas from Wisconsin University. Josh Cutchin, an alumus from ELHS, led the group in a master class for NLHS chorus and band members.
 
- On May 21st, Tri-M hosted the New Century Sax Quartet concert. The quartet had a sax player from each of the sax family members (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bari).
 
- On May 22nd, Tri-M hosted the New Century Sax Quartet master class during 2nd period (9:45-11:25am). The quartet worked with, listened to, and gave instrumental advice to students who play sax in any of the NLHS Bands.
 
- On December 17th, Tri-M sponsored a choral group to carol in downtown Lincolnton. The Lincoln-Times News was present to take pictures and join in the singing.
 
-On February 5th, Tri-M sponsored a work team to volunteer service hours to the operation of the North Lincoln's colorguard regional competition.
